Over the last 4 days, millions of Europeans cast our vote for the European Parliamentary elections. The initial results are in.

Extremists did better than we hoped - but that only fuels our energy to mobilise. There will be opportunities to block and ameliorate their meddling with our rights, with animal welfare, with nature’s conservation, with a sustainable economy. [1]

That’s what WeMove Europe is about: our community is here to take action, to build an alternative story emerging from this election - one of HOPE. Of all the dangers facing the people of Europe today, fear is the most paralysing.

There is one simple thing we can do: put up a hopeful resistance.

And we will do just that. But in the meantime, know that everything we achieved together over the last number of weeks would have been possible without you!

We made plans to vote together, inviting all our friends and family to join in on the plan. We sent postcards to the people in our lives.

Some of us attended webinars where we sent reminders to our friends and family, some of us plastered posters in different cities across Europe.

We took over social media - making sure that our rallying cry could be here from every corner of the internet!

Some of us even got our nails done for voting day!

But ultimately, we stood tall when faced with no to hate and extremism.

None of which could have been done with you.
